Final Environmental Impact Report
The City has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that provides responses to comments received on the Draft EIR for the adoption and implementation of the proposed General Plan 2050. The Final EIR also contains text revisions to the Draft EIR. The Final EIR, together with the Draft EIR, constitutes the complete EIR for the proposed General Plan 2050.
The Final EIR will be presented at the Planning Commission hearing on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., at which the Commission will advise the City Council on certification of the EIR. Members of the public may join the meeting in person, through Zoom, or by phone using the meeting access information in the notice of public hearing linked below.
However, the Planning Commission will not take final action on the EIR or the proposed General Plan 2050. Instead, the City Council will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendations on the Final EIR and the proposed General Plan 2050 during the City Council hearing currently scheduled for June 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., and will then take final action with regard to certification of the complete EIR.
