Environmental Review

 

The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) comprehensively evaluates potential impacts in a range of issue areas, such as air quality, land use, and water, as required by State law. In addition, the EIR defines impact thresholds and explains, where feasible, how future development that complies with the updated General Plan and defined impact thresholds will need minimal or no additional environmental review pursuant to CEQA. The EIR is intended to ensure that land use activities and policies do not negatively affect the Santa Rosa community and support implementation of the General Plan and the community’s vision for the future.
